One of the most difficult challenges we face in life is losing weight and/or controlling our weight. Food and drink seem to be thrust at us from every direction. Chef’s have become “rock stars” and TV channels are inundated with cooking shows and cooking challenges. Thanks to TV you’ll have no trouble locating where and what restaurants have 2 pound hamburgers, 3 pound. steaks and 5 pound desserts.
It seems as if a third of the commercials are toting some food, beverage or restaurant. Holiday partying would not be complete without a cornucopia of cheeses, chips, dip and caloric laden drinks. Going to the show?
Don’t forget the buttered popcorn and candy. Going to a ballgame then let’s have a tailgate-So we’ll need chicken wings, potato salad, coleslaw, barbecued ribs, every kind of chip and dip available and last but not least beer and soft drinks.
